This process describes how to install Microsoft Windows 7 on bare metal computer.
Before starting, make sure you have installation media ready, and your computer is configured to boot from that media.
Insert your Windows 7 Install Disk into DVD drive (if using USB stick, plug in it you computer). Start your computer. You should see something like this:
Now select your language, time and currency format and keyboard.
Click Install now.

Read License Terms. To continue, you have to click I accept the license terms.
Which type of installation do you want? Choose Custom (advanced) to install a new copy of Windows.
Where do you want to install Windows? If your computer is truly bare metal, you should just see an unallocated space. But if you already have some operating system installed on your computer, and you are absolutely sure you want to delete it, you may use Drive options (advanced) to delete existing partitions and create new ones.
WARNING: Before using Drive options (advanced) you have to be sure of what you are doing. You may inadvertently delete all files on your computer.
Now wait while Windows is installing. This part may take some time.
Now Windows need to restart to continue. Wait until restart is complete.
While Winows is starting, you should see this screen. No action is required - just wait...
Next screen you should see... still wait...
Again - wait until installation is complete.
Now we have 2nd restart. Windows is starting...
Next screen... You are still waiting :-)
Now type a user name for your first account. Also ty a name for your computer. You may also accept default.
Set password for your account.
Type your Windows produkt key.
Choose how you want to install updates. Use recommended settings for best security.
Choose your time zone and check if date and time are correct.
Select your computer's location. This setting will be used by your firewall. I you aren't sure, select Public network.
Wait while Windows is finalizing your settings.

Now we are done. Your Windows is installed and ready for use.
